New CBP Report and Site Updates

Hi everyone,

Well as I have tried to do, I am following through with my promises of getting some of the older stuff on the site updated. Today is no exception. After a complete revamp I am pleased to announce that the replacement CBP Throughput report has now been released. Unlike T-100's, the delay on this information is only 3-4 days, which means i have updated from 2014 through to Oct 2017 and it means i only have 2 more months until I have to change the formats to add 2018 in, but oh well. It's done!

The CBP folks since i first did this report have updated their information and now include US Citizen and Non-US Citizen Average and Maximum wait times in their schedules, So it's not all lost.

The report is now formatting in a similar fashion to the rest of the site and includes the following info.

Flights handled per hour

Pax handled by per hour

Average Wait Times

Maximum Wait Times

US and Non US Citizen wait times both average and max.

Split of pax throughput by time category (1-30,31-45,46-60,61-90,91-120,121+ and excluded) Like the other reports it compares MTD, YTD, Year and Rolling numbers. I've also added a QTD to this one and will start to do on the main reports next year.

Find the new report by clicking on this link, or you can go to the BOS News page and find the BOS-Massport-CBP and Comparatives page.

I am still working with iyerhari on the BOS comparatives for the above page too and more updates will happen soon.

Thursday sees the release of the next round of T-100's, so it will be time to start over and update for May 17, this round will see me add QTD to the standard suite of reports. You will find them all on the New England T-100 menu, don't forget to look at the report status page, so you can see how far I have got with the latest info. If last month is anything to go by, the regular reports should be updated about 7 days post data release, but they get released as i complete them.

As you know i have been keen to expand to the Northeast as a wider net. There are now a bunch of reports for PHL out there, but AA/US is huge and is taking me a long time to figure out due to the massive number of routes and aircraft used. However if you want to see what's there so far, go to this link, the reports completed will say "Updated April 17", i will probably not complete any more this week and will start again, once the May 17 reports have been done.

Future plans will see PHL,PIT,Rest of PA,EWR,TEB,Rest of NYC,LGA and JFK done in that order.

So enjoy, the other thing i will do in the near future is update the spotting links a bit, they are getting rather old and need some new ones added. If there is anything you think i am missing and you know how to get at the info, or i can get hold of it somehow, i'm all ears.

So for now, i bid you goodnight and will post again soon.

Thanks

VS4ever.
