Comparatives to other airports...

Thanks to airliners.net colleague iyerhari for a new report to the Newenglandaero stable, he has provided me with a comparative report of a number of major airports in the US against the size of BOS so that we can keep a track on relative growth rates. As a starting point we have month by month for 2017, although we hope to build out more information in the future.

That said, what we are seeing is already interesting. BOS's main competition in terms of traffic volume is current MSP with BOS about 700K ahead at the end of August and we are about 1.7m behind IAH and 3.5m behind EWR, now while it is unlikely we will catch those two any time soon, it does give a yard stick of how far BOS has come in the last few years to be even this close to those airports that are major hubs, particularly for UA.

So check it out, we'll be adding a couple more airports in the near future, but look for this one going forward and thanks to iyerhari again for pulling it together for me
