July 2017 - Alaska Group (incl. VX)

Alaska group continues to grow its presence at BOS, albeit organically from it's existing route structure than from additional routes and given where it is going as an organization there is no reason to see that strategy change in the short to medium term as the focus will be on west coast expansion. With all their major hubs covered, it's going to be capacity and frequency increases as space permits going forward.

July 17 saw the group transport 100K passengers for the first time albeit only up 0.5% from July 16, with a capacity growth of 2%, that mean loads dropped by 1.3%

On a rolling 12 month basis the group transported 931K passengers and a 87% load factor which is a slight drop over the previous year, all routes increased capacity except for SEA, which now has a 92% load factor for the year and we are left wondering if AAG are interested in adding extra frequency at this point, as they don't have any bigger planes to ply the routes
