Custom Border Reporting update
Hi all,
Unlike our wonderful T-100 reporting and Massport reporting, the folks at the CBP publish their numbers with a couple of days delay, meaning that Jan 18 has been published and i've updated on the site. It's also a preview of how things will look once the 18 numbers start hitting the other reports. Instead of having all the year comparatives to each other, I am streamlining so all the comparatives are from current year. Just makes things a little clearer and cleaner to work with.
Here's the page with the link to the updated report:

In terms of commentary, the key right now is really the rolling number, which is showing an improving trend with a big drop in the number of folks waiting more than 45 minutes to get through, despite a 6.6% increase in passenger throughput to 2.6m (note this is only for Terminal E arrivals and does not include pre-clearance passengers, hence why the number is a lot lower than the total international passengers arriving at BOS.
Max waits ticked up to 136 for US Citizens and 180 for Non-US Citizens, but the averages dropped to less than 12 and 18 minutes respectively.
Average booths available dropped by 3 with big drops in the early afternoon period of 5 in the 2-3pm hour and 7 in the 3-4pm hour, suggesting the new auto booths are in fact helping the speed, even with the drop in booth availability.
Anyway check it out...
